The lower bushing and washer are probably still on the old shocks. No reason to really buy anything unless he tossed the old parts already. I bought a set of HD's for a 1st gen last year and they didn't come with ANY upper bushings. Yet 2 other sets I bought previously did. According to Bilstein they no longer include them on the 1st gens. I've never bought a set of 5100's but I wouldn't be surprised if they no longer come with bushings they once did.

Noted you guys are awesome. And the Bilstien came with the boot on it.

It is harsh every time i hit a bump I can hear my shocks hitting.

Yeah he has the original shocks and that was our solution from the get go; to put the old bushing on because we can't find anywhere that sells them separate! They're still good, but the old shocks -- the originals were about ready to break off at 171k miles.

Not happening up in this State haha.

I like this analogy. He said the struts were leaking pretty bad, it actually was his idea for me to come on here and post "You go on forums and shit right? Ask those guys!" I'll present this to him thanks a lot.

Looking at the new pics it looks like another bushing and washer on the shock side of the top hat and you will be good to go.

Another concern I had was if the spring cup was on correctly and it is.
