98 to 01 a/c swap

    I have a donor 98 4x4 taco with V6.
    I just bought an 01 taco pre-runner with 2.7L.
    The underachiever evidently had an issue with the A/C, so he removed the compressor and brackets, dryer, condenser, etc. - everything under the hood (cut the hoses and semi-plugged). Only the parts remain are the evaporator unit and expansion valve. But I was informed by one mechanic that if the system wasn't vacuumed and sealed correctly, moisture may have contaminated the evaporator unit.
    How much if any A/C parts from the 98 will fit the 01?


    Never mind, found out today that the donor is a 92 V6 - completely different.
