The other night I was driving home and had the heat on and everything was going good till I stoped to get gas I cut the truck off then started the truck up and the heat or AC wouldn't blower on any of the settings well I drove home and went to the passangerside and bumped the blower motor under the dash with my hand a few times and it stated blowing again, do y'all have any ideas why it would be doing that? Could it be that there's leaves or trash hung in the fan causing it from turning or what? Thanks

that would be my first guess too.

I have been meaning to take mine apart to try and fix a high pitch squeal mine does. If your'e a do it yourself kinda person, there are threads around dealing with pulling it apart that I have stumbled upon while searching my issue.

motor bushes not making good contact. Probably a lot of brush dust in there.

mine had been doing this for years but always gave it a bump with my fist and it would work fine. well it got to about 15 degrees and guess it decided to take a dump on me finally. just took the blower out and took the motor apart, clean up all the buildup and sprayed the shaft with wd-40 and been working like a champ.
