    Hey guys,

First of all, I hope I'm posting this in the right section. If not, please move it.

Well I'm new to my Tacoma, but I'm not new to Toyotas in general. My frist ever vehicle was a 1986 4Runner. I did some work on it and really got the bug for working on vehicles. Eventually though, times caught up to me and based on the long drive to and from school (700 miles) the 4Runner was becoming pretty impractical. I just didn't have the time to work all the little things out, especially with it being my daily driver. Here are a few picture of my old 4Runner.

I wheeled the heck out of it and loved that truck. Anyway, I decided it would be better to sell the 4Runner and get something newer. I had saved up money from the past few years and bought myself a 2009 Tacoma TRD offroad. I loved my 4Runner and I absolutely love this truck too. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do to the Taco in the next few months, but I figured I'd introduce myself. I'm new to the whole Tacoma World scene, but have been a member of YotaTech for a while.

    Here's the new truck:

I'm excited to officially be a member of Tacoma world. I've been a long time lurker and it seems like a great forum for Toyota 4x4 guys like myself.

    Cheers,
    Andy

Awesome looking 4Runner. I have always really liked the design of 1st gen 4Runners. Welcome to TW. It really is a great forum, and I am sure you know from lurking, you will have to weed through some bullshit to hit a lot of the gold.

Love that older 4Runner! Very nice. You will love your 09 baby! I'm loving my new-to-me 2010 DCSB SR5! Enjoy the addiction!

    Cheers,

Purchased a used 2009 Prerunner in September. I really enjoy the vehicle. I have owned Toyota products since 1990, still have an Avalon for the wife. I enjoy the 2009 so much, I have started looking at a newer model with all the bells and whistles.

    Enjoy your new Tacoma.

Hey guys, thanks for all the welcome. Once I get started on modding my truck a little more I'll make sure to make a build thread.
