I just installed a Curt Wiring Harness on my truck a few days ago. Lights work fine but when I plug in a LED tailgate light bar the whole bar flashes instead of just one side. Anyone know what could be causing this? Its not the bar (sent back first one and ordered a better one and it did the same thing) so I assume its the wiring but I don't want to mess around with it if I don't know the direct source of the problem. Thanks!!

Do you have a converter box for your wiring on your truck? How many wires are on the light bar should be 4 white goes to ground make sure its a good ground a bad ground will do funky stuff and this might be the problem? Brown is your running lights and green is your right turn and yellow is your left tire wire. The converter box on your truck converts a 3 wire system 1 brake light and both turns signals to a 2 wire system just your turn signals
