For those who have front spacers and rear AAL's, what are the positives and negatives to the setup? Which ones did you go with, from where and why and how much lift? For those that don't go off-roading, this may be an option. All suggestion welcome. Just a thought . . . .

Yeah, I've read that a dozen times. I was looking for more individual opinions and set-ups. Thanks though.

OME 886x and 5100's all the way around. Toytec AAL. Phillips x-treme vision headlights. 886 reverse lights. Borla exhaust. 20% tint. Hi 6 mod. 285/65/18 Nitto TG on 18" Moto Metal 955's. Airaid intake. Scanguage2.JBA LT's.GC Grill..more to come.
"They" say a spacer lift and AAL's are bad...Having had both a spacer lift and OME springs w/5100's, Ive has no issue with the spacers. The only reason I went to OME and 5100's is because I wanted a little more lift in the front. I've also had rear lift blocks and AAL's...again I went to AAL's for a little more lift in the rear.

I've got a brand new ToyTec 3" with AAL in the box. I bought it to get the AAL but ended up going with a full OME lift instead because I needed the new leaf set for towing.

I'm on my second truck with revteck spacers and blocks. The rear blocks are shit. My leaf packs are toast at 35000 miles. Going to replace the whole packs pretty quick. On the front I like the height, ride is not optimal but it's a field truck. I have a hard time keeping it aligned. That could be a UCA problem though. Running 33x12.50 red letter grabbers with just a hair of rub on the drivers side fender well.

OK, great, this is the input I was looking for. I don't have the cash right now to go with 5100's so I'm gonna start out with spacers and AAL's. I just wanted to know some experienced opinions, thanks all.

If your not going to off road I don't see a problem with spacers and AAL. I ran this for a little while until I upgraded to spindles and 5100! http://4x4.fatbobsgarage.com/toyota...add-a-leafs-4wd2wd-2005-2013-6-lug-p2147.aspx

But the AAL will make the rear suspension very stiff and you will need longer shocks otherwise the ride will be extremely rough. I replaced the stock with ProComp ES3000 shocks for about $80

This was with the above lift and 285/70/R17
