Ready lift 3 inch front and back, skid plate, rims and tires
So I've got some questions hopefully someone can answer.

I was at toyota dealer the other day getting oil change and a dude pulls in with same truck as me but lifted. Me being curious asked what he had in it. He told me he had a 3 inch front with 2 inch rear block by readylift and also had 33 inch toyo open country's. Told me he had no rubbing issues didn't do any trimming or anything. Truck really did look awesome. So I ordered same exact lift and it will be here this week.

My question is does anyone have this lift (please no negative comments). The specs say that the kit will fit 33 by 11.5 inch tires MAX but I'm curious as to what I should get for rim size. I'd like 17s but not sure on whole backspacing thing if I need any or shouldn't to prevent rubbing.

    Any help would be appreciated

    3 inch toytec lift
I got my lift from here The nice thing about this site is they give members a 5% discount on products with the TW code.

I'm really happy with what I got. I have 3 inches up front and a 1.75 block in the back and I have 285/75/16 Nitto Trail Grapplers. I had rubbing in reverse just before full lock and it is a pretty tight fit still even with the trimming I did. Anyone who says they don't have rubbing with a 285 on a 3 inch lift is lying. The trimming is pretty tame but it still needs to be done especially if you go offroad.

The biggest issue I had with putting the lift and tires on was that the tire rubbed on the UCA with the stock TRD OR rims that were on the truck so I needed more back spacing.

I got the readylift 3inch up front with aal in the rear. Your going to have to trim some plastic.

How much trimming did u have to do? It's funny how everyone's telling me I'll need to trim but I looked his truck over and it didn't look as if there was any signs of trimming. And the ready lift says what will fit I just am having second guesses now that iv got tires ordered and looking at rims. I don't wanna order the wrong rims that would make tires rub

I would think it various from what back spacing rim you have. I only did minimal trimming. A little of the front flare and a little of the back flare. Oh and pretty much half the plastic splash guard. You could get away with out trimming with 265, but 285 with a wider wheel is a must. But this was my experienced with the ready lift/ 285/70/17 17x9 wheels.

I have the ReadyLift 2.75" front/1" rear lift. I'm running 265/75R16 Duratracs, which works out to 31.7", with no issues.

What back spacing offset did you end up going with? I think I'm just gonna go with no offset or back spacing that will give me more clearance like you said.

Get a wheel with 4.5" backspace and make sure they are hub centric. Also, I had a Readylift on mine and switched to 5100s with Eibachs and am way happier with the truck! So much smoother! I will say as I've been building my truck I've found I am more willing to spend about 1500 on suspension than 300, I'll spend $200 on wheel spacers over $80, and only do each once!

RobD. Do you have any pics? I have a 2012 Prerunner Double cab with Smitybuilt nerf steps and the stock 265/70 R16 BFGs. I'm wanting to add the Readylift kit but not sure how it will look wuthout bumping up the tire size.

Ended up getting lift put in and went with 265 general grabber at2s. 285s would have fit but I would need a little bit of trimming done. The 265s only rubbed in reveres when wheel was cranked all the way on the front flap that hangs off the fender about 4 inches long. Just removed it and no rubbing at all
