Lots of vibes. Seems to be a combination of problems.

    Hey folks,

I want to start off by saying I know there are those who will flame this because there are similar threads with albeit lots of info, but don't seem to be exactly the same issues thus making me question if I'm researching wrong. Then there are those who will help regardless and I appreciate ya. Just trying my damnedest to help keep my truck happy and healthy.

I've done some research and come to the conclusion that my truck might be having more than one significant issue. I'm posting to ask if anyone has had similar symptoms and what the remedies were. I'm not the most experienced with vehicular maintenance and I don't particularly trust a shop, especially in my town.

07, 4x4. Bought used at 72k. Truck has 110k miles, 5100s @ 2.5" w/ stock coils, and rear AAL as of now. Tires need balancing.

    ISSUE 1:
There is the typical driveline vibrations. I know this. I have around 3" lift and have lowered the carrier bearing. Starting up from a stop gives shudders. Also, when stopping, shudder on slowdown and slight...low pitch "grind" feel as well as brake pedal vibes. U-joints seem fine, well greased. May still need replacing. I have seen the issue back at the yoke and intend to grease that and see if it helps. Any ideas or other suggestions?

    ISSUE 2:
Some of the symptoms of issue 1 might actually intertwine with this. When hitting the entrance to a driveway or inadvertently hopping the median (i.e. 30-45 degree angles) and obviously braking. If I hit it too fast, to where it's rough, it grinds during the coil compression. Maybe bad CVs?

    ISSUE 3:
Again, maybe same as 1, but if I DO take off from a stop very rapidly, it goes gra-a-a-a-a type grind. I imagine the teeth in the transmission slipping over one another. Thoughts? Maybe the driveline binding?

Sorry for the book. Anyone willing to help, I thank you greatly. Or even just linking to a similar thread, that's cool. Searching the keywords in my head haven't turned up much.

I used to have a problem like Issue #3 on an old 4runner. Turned out that the gas tank skid plate had bent out a bit, coming very close to the rear drive shaft. On fairly hard acceleration, they would come in contact, and make an awful noise.

Look for possible signs of things rubbing that shouldn't (for all of your issues).
