I need help figuring out what I should do. I had the control arms off and figured it'd be a good time to install urethane bushings. I dropped everything off at the machine shop and was called told they got the old ones out but the urethane a don't fit. The old metal bushing were destroyed upon removal so I've got no casing to fit the urethane bushing into. So I bought new bushings, but the uppers are too small. So does anyone make a replacement uca bushing I can just press in or should I bite the bullet and buy a whole new control arm?

I redid my brothers with a u joint press and some sockets. I have an extra pair if you want to pay shipping.

yea they will you have to push the bushing out of the sleeve, not push out the sleeve. You press the bushing into the sleeve. and if there is a few pieces of the bushings stuck to the wall of the sleeve it is ok. Just make sure you put grease on the bushing and on the inside the sleeve when you hammer or use a vice to push them back in.

    Let me know

The old bushings are already out, just a hole to fill. Wish I hadn't done it now. 240k

Here's what I have, looks the same size as the urethane insert so I'm guessing my machine shop threw away a part I needed (yay).
