New Member and Question!

New to the forum. Just wanted to say hi, and ask a question. If it has already been asked in another thread somewhere my apologies, couldn't find it. I have an 09 Tacoma and ever since I bought it (about a year and a half ago) there has always been a really annoying rattling sound that comes from the passenger side dash, right above the glove box. Seems to be more significant when it's cold. I did notice when I changed my cabin air filter that the glove box is missing the side stabilizer clip, but I dont think this is the culprit.

Anyone ever experience this or have any suggestions?? Super annoying.

 

Hi, I'm new too. I have a 2011 Tacoma and it had a faint rattling sound right below the glove box when the A/C was on (usually on low speed it was more noticeable). Turns out it was the electric motor that drives the fan that needed replacing. The truck was only 2 yrs old and I was still under warranty so the dealership fixed it when I pointed it out.
Don't know if that's the same problem as yours, but something to consider.

I do have advice though, Beer+Screwdriver+hammer+10mm+Duck Tape=Fixes everything.
