Can anyone tell me what the correct idle speed is for a 2005 V6 Tacoma with 6-spd manual? Mine is jumping to about 1500 RPM's. I can't find it in the Haynes manual, and I'm trying to avoid going to the dealership if I can.

Mine idles at 1500 cold, and around 600 at normal operating temp. A bit higher when the AC compressor kicks in on defrost or with AC on. A high idle can be caused by a vacuum leak, dirty or sticking throttle body, bad coolant temp sensor, or a stuck open thermostat causing the engine run cold. If the dash temp gauge is reading normal, you can eliminate the last 2 as the cause.

Mine will sometimes jump up to 1500 even after warming up. I especially notice it at stoplights. I cannot hear a vacuum leak (doesn't mean there's not one haha), and I have wondered myself if the throttle body was sticking. I took it completely off today and cleaned it, and then proceeded to break off one of the air box mounting bolts because I overtightened it like a damn idiot :/

Well I borrowed a code reader and plugged. P0441, P0455, and P0456 all popped hot. These are all EVAP codes according to my Haynes manual. Could this be affecting my idle speed/fuel consumption?
