Glad it was found and the perp is in jail. So the guy just took all of the stickers off and continued to drive it like it was his own?? That's nuts.

Glad they found the truck but how did your Co worker get your keys and you not know? I mean did you not notice the key missing when you went out and it was gone?

I do not think this was a co-worker. However I do think it was some kind of inside job. My keys stay in my pocket now. And all of my co workers keys stay in their pockets now!

And all of our office is locked now and we have cameras all over the place.

And I check on my truck every 15-20 minutes now and I have a tracking device on the new one.

Whoever stole it may not even knew me but they did take the keys off my desk and probably just walked out in the parking lot clicking the auto unlock till they saw lights light up. Most likely a visitor, vendor, someone who did not even work there. Now people who visit have to sign in.

Funny thing. Now there has been no theft there.

    Reserected from the dead.
I can't believe they left your original plates on the thing.

Any chance the truck was totalled? Buy the truck back from the insurance company and have 2 fairly new vehicles. prolly way too late for that, tho.

Unbelivable, I'm just happy it was found.

Glad to hear the thief was nabbed and amazed the truck was in good shape. I travel in remote areas quite a bit and don't trust tracking system coverage and don't want to pay a monthly fee. Like you, I don't want the thief's leftovers. Check out Ravelco. Have one on my 2008. Thief can even have your keys but without the plug, no go. I keep the plug separate from the keys even at home in case of a break in. Really works! Glad to hear you stayed with Toyota.
