So I Finally got my sliders from the BAMF holiday sale (bare metal) and am more than likely going to have them "Rhino Lined".

Does any one have any experience with rhino lining stuff like that, I figured it would work great but don't want anything to backfire?

    Thanks in advanced!

No, don't do it.. That and all the other products like it tend to peel and rip off after a short period of time. Seeing as how it will be going on something that will most likely be gouged, scratched, dented, etc etc, I would highly advise not going that route. If you want that look try hammered paint or powder coat.

^what he said. Also, if you carry short people around who like to slide out of the truck, the lining will have a tendency to scratch their legs up.

I used the rustoleum spray on bed liner on mine. It is slightly textured, but should be easy to touch up when I scrape them up.

I used that same stuff on my grill surround as well as my rear bumper, And am really loving it and like you said it is very easy to touch up.

I was thinking of using a couple coats rustolem etching primer after prepping them then after drying, sand it a bit get it nice and rough, clean off then bed line them so there is still a base coat of "Rust protection" lol.

    Same thing I did.
Self etching primer, then spray on bedliner.
