Advice???

I have an 03 Tacoma Regular Cab, it's a 2.4L 4cyl engine in it...I've been thinking about modding the engine to get more performance out if my truck but I'm not a gear so I don't know where to start...My question is this: Is possible to upgrade the engine I already (adding additional parts) or would I have to do a complete motor swap to achieve this???

 

Unless you're really tied to your specific truck, its not really going to be worth it (in my opinion). You are going to have to put a lot into it, and the reward won't be that great-- at the end of the day its still a truck with a 2.4L engine.
