So I recently bought a reg cab 4x4 and I have a lifetime factory warranty on the drive train so I wanna lift my truck but I have to be careful of how much lift I don't really want any more then a 3 inch lift but what do you guys think would be the best lift with the best factory ride and limited wear on my truck?

Best lift you could do under 3" would be a set of fox, king or icon extended travel coilovers with an aftermarket uca like light racing, camburg, dsm, icon or total chaos for the front. In the rear the same shock options and a set of leafs or aal's from old man emu, allpro, deaver or an aal. The third link in this thread has a "build your own mid travel" option which would cover this paragraph.

There are kits out there from old man emu, toytec and many others. The suspension section on this forum has some great reading on this stuff. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/suspension/

is a vendor on this forum and offers a discount to members. Their site is great for pricing different setups.

http://downsouthmotorsports.com/ is also a vendor that does a forum discount. they also have different setups listed on their site.

I learned there is a lot more to lifting a truck than I originally thought when I started reading over the suspension section on this forum. I'm leaning towards the mid travel set up where DSM lets you choose your components. Not sure though as it is way more than what I need. I do slow speed wheeling not the high speed stuff their set up is more geared toward. I wouldn't really need the shocks with remote reservoirs even though they are cooler.

Good luck and hope you find what you want.
