Hopes of purchasing my cottage estate in NH from my family. It's BEAUTIFUL and a lot of secluded lakefront property. Just remodeled and had an addition put on. Market value for it is well over $2m. Hoping I can get it because it would be a shame to lose. We have had the place since the early 70's. I go there every summer and I go there in the winter sometimes for some boarding at the local mountains. It's a paradise for riding a motorcycle (much less moronic drivers than MA) and it's away from people. I hate people.

Problem is when you get out in the sticks, it's hard to find a job, hard to find a viable business to run that doesn't already exist, and property tax is upwards of $15k a year. No income or sales tax, but holy fucking property tax. Then again the boat house is bigger than my house in MA, so I can't complain too bad. My grandparents came to the US with $50 and 2 suitcases in the 50's. They built their own business and made a comfortable living

Ahh gotcha... when I first get there I'll be staying around 1st and Oracle and then looking at houses in rancho vistoso just off tangerine and oracle...

gotta find something pretty north as a lot of my time will be spent in florence. Also thinking cortaro / silverbell area up towards twin peaks...

work in tucson is down by the airport off valencia though... so I'll have a commute

Damn so you will be working in Florence and south tucson? Cortaro farms is a good bet. Oro valley will probably have nicer houses and easier to get to Florence. Although cortaro area will be good to get to both sides of town since it's right by the freeway.
