Been reading around to see what is going to be needed for a swap.

I have the basic touch screen 6.1" AM/FM/CD. Bluetooth,USB,Aux, Hands free phone with 6 speakers.

I might be interested in getting a stock (not aftermarket) unit with navigation. Is it a simple swap or is an antenna needed?

You definitely need the antenna. Since there is no benefit for it to be in a truck without Nav, I am sure Toyota saved money by not putting it in there (it is not the same antenna for Sirius - i verify this by the fact I have 2 separate gps antenna behind the radio and only 1 would work for my aftermarket sirius adapter). I have seen people do the upgrade you are looking into. I sold my JBL radio with Nav in the classifieds here and the demand was strong. Not sure if it requires and change in wiring harness though.

    Nice!

I might just have to look into this and sell my regular unit. I like to have navigation opposed to using my stupid iphone and the plain jane unit is basically useless
