can someone school me on mtn bike helmets

    Hey guys.. really gotten into it last few years and after taking 3 hard falls out in bathed last season i think its time for a helmet. Stopped at my LBS and all they had was old school bells. What are you guys running? I think a fullface would be good but i dont really ride extreme. Mostly single track trails.. so idont know if that's too much and too heavy for my riding

    I ride with a Fox Flux and I really like it. It feels light, has good ventilation, the rentention system is highly adjustable, and the pads are removable and washable. Next helmet i'm either going to go with the Bell Super or a POC Trabec Race. I haven't had to impact test my Fox helmet yet, but it's got a lot of coverage in the back of the head and I do feel the helmet fits in my head instead of just on top of it.
