I'm having my Avid light bar replaced by insurance and I'm taking the opportunity to add tabs. After much back and forth, Super Duty HQ in Gilbert is doing the light tabs rather than Avid. I want to make sure the tabs on the bottom bar will not touch the bumper.

Can someone with an Avid measure the distance between the bar across the front closest to the ground, and the bumper?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

That's tiny. I'm not sure there's room for tabs there!

Consider that mine is a 2012, possible your 2008 has different clearance. Also, if you look at the rest of my pics Super Duty HQ may be able to construct a bracket and cross bar that elevates your mounts to align with the air passage opening.
