    Yep. As, or if, other manufacturers make basic improvements to their semi autos, they'll also fail to meet roster requirements and be forbidden. One graph I've seen predicted that somewhere around 2017, almost no semi auto pistols will be on the CA roster, given the current rate of drop-off.

    Lawsuits are in motion on a couple of fronts (one against microstamping by NSSF, another against the roster itself). But given the track record out here, I'm not hopeful.


    If I could convince the wife to move to Texas, we'd have been gone 3 years ago.

    Texas isn't the bastion of firearm freedom that it once was. Still better than CA (anything is really) but not like it once was.

    indeed... I feel like Arizona and Florida have some of the best gun laws

    Actually, Florida ranks behind Texas as well. Surprisingly, the best states based on Freedom are North Dakota, South Dakota, Tennessee, New Hampshire & Oklahoma rounding out the top 5 with Idaho moving into the 6th spot.
