    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
Generally when it comes down to a Roots type (TRD) vs Centrifugal type, the Roots will always win in the low end power range. As your RPMs climb, the efficiency drops, however. This isnt really an issue with the 3.4L though. As I mentioned before, the 3.4L isnt a high output engine.

The Centrifugal is basically a turbo on a stick. However, Rotrex uses a new design that provides more efficient gear ratios between your engine speed and the impeller speed, idealy giving you a better low, mid, and high range power curve. I cant attest to its performance as no one I know of has yet to see it in action on a 3.4L, however its quickly gaining popularity in the performance car sector. I will refrain from saying weather or not it can offer better low end boost less some spastic nerf bag freaks out again.

However, like I said, you will need to purchase an intercooler along with the extra plumbing for any boost over 8-9 psi. This can deff work out very well for a street truck, but like I said before, Id never use it for off roading.

TRD can easily offer 300+ HP at the crank. Its tried and true and the price has been steadily declining. Ive seen them sell for cheaper than $2k brand new. Get some proper tuning, tuning chips/software, and the URD 7th injector kit and your looking at a pretty sweet setup.

OP, Gadget is supposed to be nearing done with the kit, according to the thread about it on (customtacos? I'm sorry, forget where I saw that.) If I were you, I'd wait for the dyno and pricing on that kit, and then decide.

Since you posted in this thread, I assume your truck has a supercharger? If so, you definitely should use premium gas. If not, regular should work just fine.
