Posting here to hopefully get more help

I read through numerous install threads about upgrading to a newer radio with entunes/nav and i can't figure out what is wrong with my installation. i am hoping to find someone who did the same install to help out.

problem #1: my gps for the navigation acts weird and isnt properly pin pointing exactly where i am at. Its usually 100ft or so behind and gets confused when i make a turn and there isnt a street on the map to turn on. I think it may have to do with the VSS wire (but i thought the scion harness converted this properly to the new R15 plug??).

***UPDATE: so i tapped into the VSS located behind the coin box (only black plug, Purple with white stripe wire) and GPS works perfectly.

problem #2: voice command does not "talk to me". Is this normal for you guys who have a 2012 with entunes/nav that the radio responds to you in a female voice? It works when i say a command. My original '10 JBL unit replied to me if it couldn't understand what i said. This new 2012 unit doesnt. Is this normal?

***UPDATE: i tapped the IVO+ and IVO- (BT voice) into harness R16 (Pin 16 and Pin 17) and the navigation prompts now works!

what i used to install this conversion:
    2012 JBL entune/nav radio
    new AM/FM antenna harness
    new GPS antenna
    new USB harness
radio harness PT546-00120-CH (20+8 pin to R15 plug on new radio)

any help would be appreciated! Everything else works fine.
