    not yet....
I have been lurking these forums for about a month now as I was researching vehicles and can honestly say, the forum has been of GREAT help to me. After pouring over the data, prices, sizes, MPG, towing capabilities, etc. I have decided on the Tacoma.

I have plunked down my hard earned cash and ordered a brandy new 2014 TRD Sport, DCLB. (I've learned the lingo during the month). I was all set to buy the DCSB TRD Off Road but really liked the look of the LB. Living in CT we don't have a lot of trails, mud, rock climbing but we do a lot of highway driving, so the sport seemed like a good fit.

I have owned three previous pickups, two Rangers and an F150. I liked all 3 of them but the Ranger is obsolete, the F150 is $40K new and simply too big. All the consumer data leads straight to the Tacoma and I will officially join the ranks later this week after I sign on the dotted line.

I am currently driving a 5 series BMW but she hit 100K and I am a truck guy, through and through. I own a Grady White 208 Adventure that I hope to tow all over the place with the Taco and I fly fish like its going out of style, wet waders were always an issue in the Beamer.

I'm thinking first mods are the hose clamp tailgate, weather tech laser cuts and a bed mat. Sound good ??

Sounds awesome! Yeah, like you, I found this site to be a wealth of info about the Taco before I took the plunge.

I highly recommend the Toyota bed mat. You'll probably pay $110 to $125 shipped for it, but it's worth it. You have to look at all the independent dealers that sell parts on line. I found the best price at Toyota of Dallas, but that was over a year ago so you may have to shop around a bit more.

EDIT: I'm very proud of my Tacoma. Very much more so than my previous vehicle (06 Scion tC) even though that was my first car. I love the Tacoma probably 10x more. You have certainly joined a "club" by buying the Tacoma. The owner following really is incredible.
