Have you gotten your truck to start since you bumped it the first time? You say you have at least got it to crank over? Very unclear as to what is going on. All I understand is that you hit a button and truck is broke?. Try holding the button in while cranking. Perhaps with your old xm in it was always depressed. Where exactly is it in your truck. better/more pics would be helpful. I have an 04 and don't mind digging through my dash to help compare stuff but I'm not sure ho wmuch effort you're putting in to tracing those wires.
Have you considered the possibility that the swtich is unrelated to your truck not starting? You said you also removed an xm radio. Mix up any wires that could keep the fuel pump from running?

Yes i got it to start but it bogs down a lot. The button is right under the dash on the left hand side next to the hood latch. The way it started was giving it gas while it was cranking over

    Clutch safety switch?

Is it a crank and no start, or a no crank?

Or maybe it's part of an inertia switch setup. Like what Ford used to kill the fuel pump in an accident. Or when your friend kicks the trunk really hard.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

It is definitely an aftermarket "something". There is no factory "kill switch" that I can locate in the elec diagrams.

As Humanoid suggest, trace the wires back to where they go.

If it disabled the fuel pump, it is possible the fuel rail lost presurre when you were attempting to start it before. You can try starting it again for 15 second intervals to see if the rail pressurizes again.

it should be part of the alarm system. The switch is usually hidden like how yours is. The way it works is if you forget your alarm FOB and only have your key and open your door using the key your alarm will sound and if you try to start your car with the alarm on, the kill feature will not allow you to start your engine...to turn off the alarm without having the FOB is by inserting the key and turnin it to ON and pressing the button a preset amount of times and then your alarm will deactivate. its just an owners saftey measure incase you ever loose your FOB and but still have your key and need to turn off the alarm to drive.

    hope that helps.

I would almost guarantee it has something to do with the alarm, I would find the module under your dash then see if you can find any specs on the wiring for it online. That way you can find out exactly what the button is used for and there is most likely a certain procedure to enabling it to work again.

It won't if it's an aftermarket install. Once again I will say, why not trace the wires and see where they end????

I definitely agree with monoman. I fixed a car that would crank and start with the key in "On". All because someone put in a fuse wrong. But yes, see if they lead to an evil, black alarm box.
