So I saw this truck and it has a cap on it. Looks exactly like my truck (both mine and this one are 2010) except it has a cap on it and a second exhaust tip on the left side. Same year, same looks on the outside, same on the inside. So I went to look at the sticker, just out of curiosity. Now keep in mind, my truck has 15xxx miles, this one has 31k. There is no way that I would be able to sell mine for anything close to what they are asking for this truck. Sorry I didn't get more pics, I had to leave.

Some idiot will come along and buy it trust me. There is always the uninformed buyer who just buys something based on looks.

No, what I'm saying is, I don't think this is an SR5 and that the bumper is custom. There is no mention of the custom exhaust. Wouldn't SR5 make the price higher? Or a custom bumper? And it says 20" wheels. I can barely put my 17 inch ones in there without rubbing. If you look at the tires (which are supposed to be offroad), they don't look overly big.

Aftermarket accessories don't do a whole lot to the selling price in private sale but, for dealerships, it can give them cause to jack up the price. If it's got 20's, looks nice, has some custom parts on it, some idiot will buy it. It's like the trucks you see on the dealership floors with a cheap lift that they're asking $10k over normal sticker price for.

True about the aftermarket, I agree, and that sucks. But do you think by looking at the front of the truck that this an SR5? Mine isn't. No chrome, no fogs, no color matching grille surround or fenders. It has black plastic unpainted like mine. The truck had XD Superstars or whatever those things are called. If they were 20" wouldn't that rub? I have 17's - mine rubbed so I had to get a lower profile tire.

Here's my front end for comparison. That bumper (no fogs) and grille are like mine. That grey truck does not look like an SR5. Correct me please, if I don't know what I'm talking about.

It's definitely not an SR5. I have one and am quite familiar with the SR5 add ons. BTW, the sticker also says it has a bed liner. How's that "bed liner" look on the composite bed? :D
