I am not sure if i am late on this, but i just received a catalog from Consumer Reports.

Stating that the Tacoma has a strong engine thats great for hauling. But it feels dated and uncomfortable for everyday driving, with clumsy handling and a rough ride.

I always thought my Tacoma is comfy as hell when compare to the cars that my family drives.

The toyota tacoma is a good truck but the drive train does need an upgrading in some way. I mean a six speed automatic and a power boost would not kill toyota.

Yea... i guess i have to agree.
I have the Tacoma with the Baja package.
The truck is slow, and it does lack a lot of stuff that is offered by the Full size truck makers.
And the price was pretty expensive for this Baja.

Now it is making me worry, when 1 day i do sell it. Im unsure how much value it retained

As a huge Tacoma fan and owner.

Consumer Reports hit the nail on the head. It is a dated vehicle. It shows.

Is the Honda Ridgeline still the top-rated pickup by Consumer Reports?
