Hey guys I could use some thoughts/ideas and comments about what is recommended and what to buy for my off road lights install. I am by far more a carpenter than an electrical engineer so the pros please chime in.

Here is the plan: I install a mesh grill and get of course a BAMF bracket to hold the lights....Looking to go with LightForce with combo filter but then later on "when money comes around....taxes......." I plan to add more lights but of different sizes and or L.E.D. or something not sure just yet. So what else might I need to get???

    External Fuse box? what kind?
    Fuses which ones? How many?
Resistors? Switches? I really don't know what to start out with and don't want GARBAGE but don't want to go over board either. So please a little help would be much appreciated fella's.

Depending on which lights you get, it may already come with a relay and switch. But if it doesn't then you need both. Relays you can get anywhere. Switches - really depends on what you want, there' so many out there. A lot of people have the switches from OTTRAW because they fit in the switch blanks in our trucks (see my build to see what they look like)

If you plan on getting a lot of accessories, then it would be a good idea to get a fuse panel like Blue Sea, just so it's more organized (also have this in my build). Otherwise, if you only have 1-2 things, you can have it go to your battery.

I see you're in Sac. We're actually having a mod day in Sac in a few weeks. I'd check it out and see everyone's set ups. It'll give you a bunch of ideas

Yep I will be there, but due to my impatient personality I have already ordered my steps, and new head/tails lights that I had planned to do and going to tackle them friday with my younger brother to help. So just planning for new and harder things for the MOD day since these I should be able to do on my own.

Ahhh I see. My bad, I didn't realize you were already on the list haha. If you plan on doing any lighting at mod day I can help you wire everything up.
