How bad of a leak? Mine's been leaking for years, a nice coating of sludge is holding more oil back than the seal at this point I imagine. I just top it off when I think about it. I know that doesn't help you after spending money and time trying to fix it. Just a different perspective.
I'm really surprised repeated attempts have not fixed the issue. Is there a better quality seal that can be used?

There is a thing called a speedy sleeve, that is very thin. It slides over the axle or cv shaft however you want to word it.It will cover the groove if there is one. Basically it makes the seal fit tighter. How is your breather? If it is plugged seal failure can happen, although you would probably have other seals failing if diff vent is plugged.Hope this helps ya.

The most common problem with persistent seal leaking is the bearing. I would be willing to bet that the front differential output shaft needle bearing is worn. This causes excessive movement of the CV shaft, and premature bearing failure. Always need to find the root cause because the majority of the time a failed CV seal or rear axle seal failure is because of a shaft or bearing failing, causing damage to the seal. Get the replacement ECGS busing kit and replace both front bearings with these bushings. Then put in a new seal, and re-inspect the CV axle.

So I was wondering if a noise would be accompied with the bearings you mentioned. A very odd noise has also been occurring but its odd considering the noise comes and goes when it wants. Like for example for 5 days it made noise and when I took it to the mechanic the 6th day the noise stopped.

The noise kinda resembles the brake indicator noise at times other times it sounds like a squeaking belt. Best descriptions I can give. Truck does have a toyatech coilover kit(came on truck). I only started having the leaky seal issue after my cv needed to be replaced. Fourth time I try to repair it... If it helps after replacing the seal it leaks after a short drive (30-50 miles).

Thanks for responses and possible solutions

Some noise could be evident, but I can't diagnose that condition without having the truck here. lol.

Listen to BamaToy1997, he gave you the solution, bearings + new seal...a bearing with too much play will destroy a seal in no time...since you have replaced the seal numerous times with no luck I would be leaning towards the whole enchilada fixing the problem...

Don't give up, once you get it right, yo will be liking your Tacoma more and more....
