I've read countless articles, discussions on the wheel vibration problem inherent to the Tacoma. I understand that balancing with a haweka (not sure of the spelling) may help, but the one question that I have yet to see addressed is...if you change to a hub-centric after market wheel will this help in anyway?

if anyone had success with after market wheels and know the size of the center hub please share.

I believe all aftermarket wheels are lug centric. If routine wheel balancing isn't working, consider a tire shop that offers road force balancing.

I believe the bore is 106mm. Do you have factory wheels? If you do they are hub centric.

they are factory wheels, but they are not the usual SR5 wheels. they are the wheels that come with the Texas edition package.

they are def. not hub-centric. there is a small space between the axel hub and wheel hub.

whishing I new the exact size in order to buy some center rings for the wheels. I believe this may take of this horrible problem.
