Since I broke my rear leaves and it's a perfect time to get a lift. I don't have much money at all and I'll probably be breaking the bank since my tax return won't be enough for all this, I need advice.

Would you guys get this and

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-1...-ride-height-adjustable-1995-5-2004-pair.html

    OR

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/Old-Man-Emu-rear-springs_p_144.html

    and

    http://downsouthmotorsports.com/i-1...t-adjustable-1995-5-2004-pair-front-rear.html

I'm leaning towards the first. I'm open to other ideas too. Will I need any other parts? U-bolts? Bushings?

I'm thinking of this wheel here and wrapping it in a 33x10.5x15 either BFG AT or KM2s. ... el-wheels/

Of course, this is down the road. I have no money and plenty of life on these tires, so I'll be rolling on these well into the lift.

The wheel doesn't show up? Would you need to rehear at33?

And what? Regear? Nah, I'll be fine. I'm on 31s now.

Doing some work in the parking lot at school :/ Had a cop stop and ask me if I was broke down, haha.
Finally got around to changing the fluid in my front diff. By far the hardest drain plug I've tried to break loose. Took about an hour of PB blaster, beat with a hammer, ratchet, hit ratchet with hammer, repeat forever. Too bad I don't have a breaker bar...

Also touched up some of the trail damage on my main skidplate.

Realized after I drained it (50% in my rigged up milk jug catch pan, 50% on the R1 parking lot), I remembered I need 1.6 quarts of fluid. I only had around that much, so I had to be careful.

This is the biggest piece of medal on the magnet after I cleaned it some, does that look bad?

My harbor freight transfer pump starting to leak out of every possible place as I was pumping so It made a huge mess, but I somehow ended up with the perfect amount to fill it up.

As soon as I'm torquing down the fill plug I get a call from the Vice President of the car club I'm in saying his race car's battery died. So I throw my 219308213 (read: 2) skid plates back on and rush over there.

Madison Motorsports equipment equipment manager to the rescue.

I need to do the same thing and what kinda fluid do you use? Luckily I have access to air tools so it might be easier for me. Hopefully!

I try to check things like that regularly to make sure everything is good to go. Like that optima u got too. Dude and I seen them pics from a meet ya'll did going on some trails looked fun as shit. I'll be going to the hurricane meet in march with a buddy and can't wait dude. They'll be tacoma's everywhere haha

Hit everything with penetrating oil a day before. Give each bolt a tap with a hammer too to compress the washers on them a little more. Also be sure to go buy the 6 washers and replace them when you do it. I can post the part numbers for them if you need them. Under $10 for all 6.

You'll also need a 10 MM hex socket for the front diff which I could find no one to borrow one from. Ended up buying a set to add to my already ridiculous tool collection in my toolbox.

Do yourself a favor and buy a pump. Harbor Freight on Timberlake has one for like $10.

    Thanks man!

I did my rear diff and t-case about a month ago. I was a little late getting to this because I never had the time.

If you were a little more north, I'd say you should run some trails with the Central VA group!

Ok man thanks and where should I get the washers? When you getting your new leaf kits?

Get them from Berglund. They had all of them in stock except the front drain plug one when I bought mine.

And I'm not sure. With school and everything, I haven't been able to work as much. Seems like March would be the earliest possible.

Interesting build man, I think I'm going to steal the painted skid plate idea

Thanks! All I did was some cleaning, light sanding and 3 or 4 coats of Rustoleum red.

Didn't really care how it turned out since I scratch it anyway, but it actually came out VERY well. Surprised me.

Ordered a front diff drop kit from a guy from here because they're originally $40 or so and he was asking $20 shipped.

Still debating on whether I want to run it. CV angles get pretty bad with more than 3 inches of lift and I'm going for about 2 3/4 of lift.. Installing this also means my skid plate and most aftermarket ones will no longer fit either... (At least that's what I've heard, I'd REALLY love some advice on this)

    Thoughts?

Met up with NewRider and VaYoder and had lunch, then hit some quick mud.

Turns out that I suck ass at driving in mud. Also, being in the back of the pack going through mud sucks.
