295's on a first gen

    Hey, has anyone stuffed 295-70-17's under their first gen? converted to inches its a 33.3X11.6X17 it seems like its not that far from the 285-70-17 that is a 32.7

    backspacing will be 3.25

    I think TacoDell is running 295/75/16 which are essentially the same size. Do a search for his posts, he typically does detailed reports of tires, lifts, etc.

    That being said, be prepared to cut a fair about with that little of BS on the wheels.

    should be fine. You'll still have to trim the pinch weld and a bit of the fender but nothing drastic.
