    Pretty much :laugh: It starts small.. just ordered a set of EBC Greenstuff SUV compound, since I can't stand how weak the stock brake pads are. I can also see myself calling Techna-fit in the next week or so and asking them to put together a set of SS lines for me, too :rolleyes:

    do you have to put on aftermarket slotted/drilled rotors with the green stuff? i heard those pads heat up much more..

    No. Personally, I steer people away from slotted rotors unless they're doing serious track duty, and tell people to avoid drilled rotors completely due to risk of fracturing and catastrophic failure under extreme heat. For street driving, there's no reason to spend the extra money for slotted rotors unless you just want the look.

    That said, any aggressive pad will create more heat, that's just a basic byproduct of the increased friction. If pads/rotors are bedded properly, and allowed to cool a bit after heavy use (for example, a cool down lap) then you won't have to worry about pad transfer causing vibration.
