tires and rims, retrax cover, alarm

I have a 04 Tacoma PreRunner with the optional 265/70/16" tires. Can I go to 265/65/18" without involving any problems such as tires rubbing the inside fender well and well as the outside fender lip. Do I have to modify the fender well in order to avoid such problems. Any recommendations will be appreciated. Thanks! Alan
