What's up fellas? Anyone know where you can buy synthetic winch line, winch stop safety thimble or aluminum fairlead for cheap? I'm currently talking to clay rusher from Annapolis and looking at amsteel blue aswell. Also anyone wanna buy a brand new winch steel cable and hook off of a xrc8 winch idk how long it is but it's the standard cable that came with the winch.

    See Build Page.
Was trying to pull up a link but the phone is being dumb.

AMAZON.COM Search Synthetic Winch Rope, plenty of choices, no sales tax currently and free shipping. Good luck. You can also find fail leads there as well.

    Soft or fiberglass?

I've got an Access Lorado and I love it. I've had it for about 6 months and haven't had any problems whatsoever with it.. Not horribly expensive, waterproof, easily installed, and low profile. I don't even notice it is there anymore.. it velcro's and uses the same screws at the stock bed rails so you dont have to worry about screwing into the caps to install buttons or something.

Does anyone know a good (cheap) welder in the general vicinity (100 miles or so) of Baltimore?

Also, generally speaking, how much does it cost to get a set of sliders welded onto a DCSB?

I have an Access Limited for over 4 years now. Still looks great and works well. Back when I bought mine Truck Alterations, a TW Vendor, had the best prices.

My boyfriend is an excellent welder but he isnt getting a new machine till like march or so. He did say if you send me a pic of the sliders and that you have fitted them already he can direct you to a good welder. We are in DE near the Cecil County MD line so any referrals I would think would be around this area.

That's cool. March is probably when I will strip the coating from them and spray them black. I'm not too far from you so travel isn't a issue. I actually met you at the BWW meet a few years ago during Hurricane Irene.

Here is a link on a how-to of exactly what I have. So far I have a quote of $125 to get them welded.
