Clearance questions

Hello i am wanting to add some 1.25" wheel spacers to my set up. i am running stock rims and 265/75-16 size tires. i have already removed all the mudflaps and i want to know that if i add the spacers will my tires then rub anywhere? thanks for the help ~Evan

 

You shouldn't be rubbing now. I have the same tires at stock height no rub.

 

im not currently rubbing. i just want to make sure i wont begin to rub by adding the wheel spacers.

good to know. Germ are you running the 1.25" spacers? do they make a noticeable difference in how the truck looks?

 

does anyone have photos of a stock 2nd gen with spacers? also are 2" spacers overkill?

 

I would do the 4"ers...twice as cool..

 

When I was running an after market wheel with 4.5'' BS and 265/75/16 tires, I rubbed like crazy. You shouldn't be rubbing now, but when you push the tire outward you push it out of the wheel well and risk rubbing the part of your fender flare that is on the outer part of your wheel well. So it is definitely possible after adding the spacers.

 

that's what im worried about. i love the look but not at the expense of my functionality. i do a decent amount of offroading so i don't want to be rubbing.
