Best tire option for my 2011 Tacoma

    I know this has been done dozens of times, but here I go...
    I have a 2011 stock Tacoma. I'm in need of advice on good quality tires at 61,000mi. Also any advice on the largest size that will fit and look good on my truck. The salesman at the tire store recommended 265/70/17. He said that tire would give me a slightly higher ride. Which is appealing to me. Can I go bigger, or is that pretty much the max I can go without lift? I want to do a lift but it's not in my budget as of late. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much guys.
