Thinking about installing a TRD Supercharger some time in the near future, as ive researched and drooled over it since i found out about it. My truck has over 90,000 miles on it, though well taken care of. Is it a bad idea to supercharge it or should I go for it? Opinions and elaborations please!

.. boost is gonna' cause weakened mechanical parts to be stressed at 90,000...sell it and buy a newer truck, and then keep it smashed to the floor...its what you wanna do with it anyway isn't it......#DontLie

If you have the money go for it, Id love to supercharge my rig.

Only disappointment to me is the lack of tuning support and other support for the taco.

what are S/C kits going for now at days anyways ?

Yeah I have definitely considered just waiting to buy a new truck but i dont how long that will be. But say you got a super charger at 30,000 miles and now your truck has 90,000. My truck that has not had a supercharger is probably better off than the one that did as far as wear and tear. considering we drove them the same.

TRD: Around 3600 plus install or at least reflash if you install it yourself.

URD: 5000+ little more powerful set up
