New guy here. I've got a car I don't really drive much and I'm thinking of trading for a new ('14) Taco. We have a van and lifted Xterra in addition to my car, so I'm considering just selling my car - but as you guys know, when you need a truck w/bed, there aren't a lot of good substitutions.

Anyhow, visited the local dealer a couple of times to compare the Taco and Tundra and I think the double cab Taco will be big enough for the family (2 kids). First choice from looking online and at the lot is a TRD Off Road, but guessing I would prefer the Baja if I could find more details.

Looking forward to reading more here when I'm off my phone. Suggestions and advice are certainly welcome. :)

Welcome  test drive both the tundra and Tacoma and then decide on which one you would need.

I don't think we need a test drive. We don't need the extra size, not the extra $10 in price. Plus it would never fit the garage - the Taco at least would fit until a lift and roof rack. I really don't like big vehicles.

I forgot to add we like to offroad and the Tundra is a big pig for small trails. ;)
