I have a 03 tacoma trd pre runner, the break light indicator on the dash is always on and the dealership just says to bring it in. Does anyone know what the problem could be so I can fix it?

    The e-brake light?

Isn't there a switch on the rod connecting to the handle under the dash, so when you push it in, it turns off?

It ended up being low fluid. It was just under the max line but I've read that the sensor tends to be a bit touchy
