What's up. I am new here to the tacomaworld forum but not new to Toyotas. I have had a 04 Double cab on 33's, a 82 4x4 stock, and a 85 4x4 on 36's. I sold all of them including my 04 which I wished I had kept. I hate to say that I bought a 07 Rubicon 4 door JK beat on it some, and sold it. It had a lot of good things and some terrible things. The 4:1 T case and auto disconnects were nice but with a 4 " lift and 35's it was still way too long in the middle to wheel. I drug the bottom everywhere. I am looking now for a 2nd gen Tacoma double cab to build into an expedition vehicle. I recently bought my son an 2001 Xcab v6 4x4 Tacoma for his first car when he turned 16 and he is becoming a Toyota nut like me.
I have wheeled all over the south east, Tellico, Harlan, Windrock, Coal Creek, River Rock, Durhamtown, Mount Eagle with the Damn Locals, Grey Rock, and Gulches to name a few. I have been at this for many years in one way or the other, but the last few years got out of wheeling to focus on starting and growing my business.
Now I am looking to build an expedition type vehicle to go to Colorado and California, and Utah and hit the trails, camp, and spend some time with my two sons before they fly the coop.
    Jason
