You may have to pull the head to get it out.

Was it just the plastic tip or did the metal orifice plate come off?

I can't see the orifice plate coming off as it is welded on.

Plastic tip not too much worries, metal orifice plate big worries. Do you have a picture of the injector missing the tip?I would like to see what you have.

If you have the fuel rail out, try sucking at the injector hole with a clean shop vacuum. It may just work, I have done it before to get a plastic tip out.

Hmm. Before you pull the head, get a vacuum and adapt the hose down to something small enough to fit through the spark plug hole. Try to use the suction to grab the piece and pull it from the cylinder.

Or maybe go though the injector hole, if the piece is sitting on top of the valve. You could pull the intake manifold to get it from on top of the valve, too.

did the piece make it into the cylinder or is it on the top of the valve in the intake track?

not sure how it could have fit through the hole, but I have never worked on YOUR motor, so I could be wrong.

from previous experience, it didn't fit all the way through the hole unless broken, I would look around really hard to find it as it is likely it didn't fall in, but rather out
