    Hi,

I'm new here. I have a 2003 Tacoma Prerunner. I Got a good deal on the truck but the rear wheel bearings and rear leaf springs are bad (differential is fine).

I picked up two of these

    I have a 20-ton press and this tool: http://www.durasolid.com/axle-bearing-puller-Toyota

I've been working on cars for 30+ years, but never dealt with a Toyota truck (good I guess). Just wanting to make sure that I have what I need before starting.

OK, got the axles out and the ABS tone ring off (made a tool out of a bearing splitter and a couple of bolts that worked well) and after some sweating, got to using the Durasolid tool....AND...the tool won't work because the axle is too wide at the end for the tube to slide down far enough to screw into the plate.

Back to the drawing boards and will either be making my own puller or maybe a local shop will take pity on me.
