my 2001 w/90,000 4x2 v6 cruse will not setdash lites up ?

 

Hi there, and welcome to tw. in the future provide some information about the issue, such as what youve already tried, what you do and dont know, and just overall be as helpful and pleasant as possible.

does your cruise work, but no dash lights to indicate so? check bulb in gauge cluster.

does your cruise not work, and your stumped? read on then.

the v6, with sr5 package has drive by wire and cable. the cc module sits on pass fender between an abs module and air intake. confirm the cable, looks like a bike brakeline cable is still attached both there, and the throttlebody, and the throttle body linkage is still healthy and valve operates freely.

next, check fuses, look both under hood and under dash. off the top of my head i couldn't tell you which ones they are, but between diagrams on box, and owners manual im sure you can figure it out.

Finally, report back with findings. Good luck!

 

thx 4 ur time sorry about the lack of infowhen I turn on cc it lites on dash but will not set at any speed, I do have the v6 w/sr5 packagecked all fuses non were marked cc so pulled aLL they cked ok the cc mod seams to be ok cables are free and hooked at both ends I sure thank u for ur help as I am not very tech or mach savy love ur trk its very cool when I learn how I will post some of my pictures anyway thanks for all ur ideas jjohnston

Mine too. Lack of spelling and punctuation is a complete turn off. I usually ignore these guys since it takes too much effort to figure out what he/she is trying to say.
