    Hey everyone,

Right now I got a stock 2012 Toyota Tacoma Charcoal TRD Sport 4x4 Access Cab with towing package. I bought this about a year and a half ago, I didnt want the towing package and I wanted the double cab but they just didnt have it in stock so I had to go with what I had.

Here is my future build, it's pretty redundant with the questions everyone has but this is what I plan on doing in the next 2 years.

3" Suspension Lift OME with 33" Tires - What lug nut size comes standard so that I can buy the proper wheels? What tire size is standard (not specs, how many inches is it?) Im planning on getting 33" but I think with a 3" suspension may not be enough for those tires.
    Wheels
    Tires
    HID Lighting w/ Projector Housing
    Remote Start - Compustar Drone
Bed LED Lighting (I saw on here)
Interior Lighting (some LEDs near the door handles and such)
    Possibly a CB
Fog light Lightbulb replacement (brighter model)
Backup light lightbulb replacement (brighter model)
LED Light strip to the front of the truck for even more lighting
Running Boards (I think thats the proper name)
Bedliner (Monsterliner) Anyone ever had them? supposedly they are better than rhinoliner.

Thats all I have planned. My basic intent is for it to look cool more than anything. I had a Jeep a while back that I just poured money into with lockers, regearing, and everything else. Alot of it I modded myself so it looked like crap. The driving after the lockers and lift was also always funny which is what Im worried about the lift. So I dont plan on offroading with it. Im also thinking about buying a different toyota tacoma for sale on this forum, I but I think it may be too much of a hassle for me to sell mine then buy his. I bought mine new too so I have that piece of mind.

Anyways, feel free to chime in with your comments. Immediately on my list is remote start because it's so dang cold. I should be getting that in the next few weeks. The HID lights will also most likely be done by the same people along with the interior lighting.

The running boards will most likely be after that, im seeing some of them on craiglist for $150 OEM type and I believe theyre $350 retail. Im guessing its just drilling and bolting? Or does it go into existing holes?

Biggest issue right now is this lift, im hearing combining OME with Bilstein shocks? Im going for comfortability and will not be putting a winch up front or a heavy bumper. I want it to ride smooth, my Jeep turned into a coaster ride for alot of people and I do miss that baby.

Also im in the market to buy things, so shoot me PMs or links to whatever it is you're selling, I just may be interested.

for the wheels, check under the forum list>tacoma garage>wheels and tires. i think with a 3" lift you should be ok, but the issue will be the wheel well at that point. from what i've read it will need pretty significant trimming. for the inch size of your stock tires (probably 265/65/r17) you can put that into the tire size calculator under the mods & tutorials drop down at the top of the page which says stock is 30.54 inches tall and 10.43 inches wide. (Tacoma World has tons of awesome stuff like this all over). for the running boards (if thats all you want is a step) there are holes already drilled under there for you, so it should just bolt on.

    looking forward to the build.

    Happy modding
