 Ive just bought a 2014 Tacoma with a 4.0L and Im wanting to buy the TRD supercharger. I am a service advisor at Autonation Toyota Fort Myers. The problem is my parts guy is telling me the unit is not available with the new tune. I have read that a couple of members here on the forum have done it on a 2012. My question is who did the tune? Toyota has the tune for a 2010 but 2011 and up have air injection and from what Ive been told there is no tune to get around the air injection system.... Any help would be great!

Hmm, I had the dealer install the superchager on my 2012 before ever seeing the truck. It does have the dealer completed TRD reflash as well. This eBrochure (http://www.toyota.com/tacoma/ebrochure/) for the 2014 shows the supercharger as an option. I know several 2013's have the supercharger and the only difference in the air injection system from the 2012 that I know of is that for 2013+ it has a heater on it as well. No air injection heater on 2012. But I don't know how that would affect the TRD reflash as the air injection is simply an emissions deal after exhaust ports to add air to the exhaust manifold to help burn off extra undesirable gases and lower exhaust emissions.

I'd like to believe your parts guy is wrong..

As of February 1st, 2014 there is no supercharger calibration ID for 2014 models. I had the most recent fit kit instructions printed out at the dealer, it only went up to 2013, what you waiting for is the Calibration ID.
