    just purchased a 06 quad cab for my son, wants wheels and tires but dont want to put a lift on it just yet. anyone know if BF goodrich 265/65/17 with XD -12 rims will rub the wheel wells?

    Beggers can't be choosers. He got the truck. He can wait for wheels & tires. Besides, he's probably gonna bite his fair share of curbs, possibly boogering up the wheel/tire

    LARGER WHEELS. DIFFERENT STEREO. PUSH BAR. TAILGATE EXTENDER. WIPER MOD. TPMS LIGHT DELETE MOD.
    Im running 265/70/17 on my xtra cab "09 and they don't rub. I don't go off road, though. The 65 profiles would be a little wider and less tall. I think you'd be fine.
