I was wondering how many of you had problems with the front corners of your hoods stickin up, and also what you did to bring them back down and fix the seam. Adjusting latch, bringing up fenders etc.

There's a rubber washer on the front corners...just turn the clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the hood up or down.

Maybe it was in an accident and things are out of whack? That's the only way I know the front corners are adjusted.

are the rest of the lines matching up? look at the other end up buy the windshield where the corner of the fender is, does that line up? if not you can loosin the 4 bolts that hold the hood to the hinges and slide it a little forward may help. also check the hood latch, make sure it did not get tweaked a little and making the hood not be able to go all the way down.

is it just the edges or is the center a little higher than should be?

worst come to worst you can loosin the bolts on the fenders, if i remember right there is 3 or 4 on top under the hood, one under the truck at the bottom and one to the liner in the front, if you loosin them just a little you have alot of play to adjust.

also maybe check the headlight assemblies, make sure they are seated right, may not be the hood but the headlights assemblies, check out the top 2 screws and the plastic 'washer' things see if maybe one f cracked and its sitting a little low?

other than that i am out of ideas unless possibly there was a small gap between the headlight assemblies and the hood and the force of highway wind tweaked the edges up a tad?

you have any close up pics?

    cheers,
    disco

I'll get some when the sun comes up but it's just the front corners all the other seams are good and the center where it latches lines up nicely as well
