    Hello,

My wife has a chronic neck injury that leads to terrible migraines literally every day of her life. I am looking at upgrading the suspension so the truck will ride a little smoother (almost wish I bought a heavier truck). Can anyone recommend a good fix? I'm looking for same height or minimal lift (no more than 2 inches). I was thinking some Bilstein 5100's set at zero or 0.75 with maybe a 1" block in the back.

I have a canopy so the weight helps keep my ass down. Also, I don't know if there's a difference in the CDN and US leaf packs but its a Canadian 2013 TRD Sport. - It sounds weird but I thought I read somewhere that there was a difference in CDN and US....

Would 5100's make the ride much smoother, or would they tighten it up to improve handling thus making her feel the bumps of the road a little more.

Thanks for any help. Not being able to take the wife on roadies really sucks.

Get a set of nice coilovers, Kings are kinda top of the line, and take all the preload out, once you have them installed you can just set them to the stock ride height. In the rear if you really want to soften it up, you can swap in some Chevy full size leafs, they aren't bolt in of course, so if you don't have the tools/skills to do some fab work, a local spring shop shouldn't have any trouble doing that. Matching the rear shocks to whatever you get for the front would be best. Should ride like a Lexus after all that.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Maybe an air ride passenger seat. Check toughseats.com [IMG]

You need a lighter weight coil up front.

Anyone know off hand how the OME884 compare to stock?

Great thread, Thanks Chadderdawg, Trying to research this myself. Going to look at kings now. Surprised at Kings, Icons, etc. thinking only for fast driving off road stiffness, softness for bumps. Love, gotta have that Lexus deluxe ride! Jeeps, Tacos,... you build them.
