Got my TSB done today. I didn't know there were 2 Scotts there. When I called the first time, a Scott answered the phone, so I thought he was the same one. I worked with Scott Backus. Easy to work with, even made sure they parts were on hand so I wouldn't have to bring it back to get the work done after they inspected it. He never said what qualified it beside my VIN #. When I dropped it off, they acted like the work would be done inspection or not. I will buy from them next time. Universal Toyota in San Antonio where I bought it told me I had to load the truck up and then they would look at it and maybe I would get the TSB. And they couldn't do both the same day.

THAT's the guy, Backus. Was good to deal with.

    You like the new springs?

Yeah I like them. Feels like a different vehicle. It definately went from riding like a car to riding like a truck, but that's what I wanted in the first place. Be advised though. If anybody is considering this and likes a car-like ride and doesn't carry much weight, don't get the TSB. I think the best thing they could do is make the 4 leaves a no-cost option. If they still have the 3 leaves stock in 3 years when it's time for a new taco, they're not getting any money from me until the TSB is done. Much more leverage for the buyer that way. I ended up wasteing a whole day, but the free upgraded shocks and springs were definately worth it.
