After information overload from this forum and countless hours of back and forth between which lift to get I made a decision and bought everything before I could change my mind again.

    4 Ion 171 17x9 wheels matte black
    4 Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/70/17
And the ToyTec bilstein adjustable coil over 3" lift kit with rear TSB AAL and 3Deg axle shims for proper pinion alignment.

I spoke with a rep at Toytec for about 30min and for my specific 90% on road use of my Tacoma he recommended this kit over the OME.

Overall I'm super excited!!! and hope to get it all put on next Weekend unless my wife decides something like grocery shopping is a higher priority.

Here it sits today up in Maine

Looks like you'll be able to put it to good use with all the snow you guys are getting.

For sure we got 12" last night and supposed to get 6-12 between today and Tomm.

I gotta say though Toytec is on the ball I ordered everything about and hour ago and I've already received shipment emails with tracking numbers.

Wow... I've ridden in trucks with both and I'd say the ome rode much smoother on road than the toytec/Billy's.

Look into the icon or wheelers progressive aal if u want a smoother ride in the back while still offering upgraded load handling.

The toytec/deaver tsb aal can make things a bit abrupt and the ass may have more tendency to hop around. Been there myself and hated the single aal once I tried the 3 leaf aal.

Are u gunna run it at or above 2.5"?

If so, did they also send upper control arms to get ur alignment back to spec?

Well I bought that opposed to the OME kit because they said for on road which is 90% of my driving that the Bilstein would be a nicer ride.

The website said the lift I bought comes already set for 3" and that's what I was gonna run with 285/70/17's.

I did not get UCA's. Yet. I have the money but I already spent so much on everything and I'm 2 weeks away from closing on a house so I want to make sure I have all the money needed at closing.
